Ibiso Graham‑Douglas is the founder and publishing director of Paperworth Books and a seasoned publishing professional with more than two decades of experience in the book industry. Her influence spans the literary landscape, with an extensive portfolio of titles across multiple genres. She has served as the official publisher for major cultural initiatives, including the Port Harcourt at 100 celebrations and the Beeta Playwright Competition.
A firm believer in the richness and universality of African narratives, Ibiso champions stories that reflect the continent’s depth, diversity, and creative power. She holds a BA in Financial Services and Politics, an MA in Publishing, and an MBA in International Business Management. She is also the editor of Covik One Nine, an anthology of stories and poems capturing lived experiences during the COVID‑19 pandemic.
Ibiso is an adjunct lecturer in Book Publishing at Pan‑Atlantic University in Lagos, Nigeria, where she contributes to shaping the next generation of African publishing professionals.
