Chimeka Garricks is a Nigerian Irish lawyer, editor born in Dublin and raised in Port Harcourt. Chimeka considers himself more of a storyteller than a writer and would rather choose soundtracks for movies or be a DJ.

His acclaimed novel Tomorrow Died Yesterday was the winner of This Day Style book of the year 2010. He is also the author of A Broken People’s Playlist.

He lives in Lagos, Nigeria, with his wife, Biyai and their three children.
